The (almost) perfect home...if only it was in Washington state, where we will be moving. We truly love it here and often tell each other that, besides groceries, we have little reason or desire to leave it. Below are some highlights but they won't do it justice. Come see it. I promise...you'll love it as much as we do. This immaculate, step-less, TURNKEY 3, 590 sq ft, four-bedroom, four-bath home has two guest bedrooms, which are joined by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and two master bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The half-bath is between the kitchen and media room. There is a fireplace in the great room and the heating/cooling is efficient, economical and, most important, quiet. We added a whole-house natural gas generator in 2020 so we never lost power during the snowstorm. As it should be, the huge gourmet kitchen is the heart of the home. The rich color of the cabinets adds a subtle and comforting warmth. Granite countertops, new instant-hot water dispenser (which you will find yourself using A LOT), new dishwasher and massive walk-in pantry make this an ideal kitchen. Of course it has the necessary elements of a "smart home" with programmable thermostats, smart garage doors, a smart sprinkler system, surveillance cameras, and an OmniLogic control system for the pool all of which can be operated with apps on your phone. The yard has a rather elaborate drip irrigation system so you could shut this house down and travel without worrying about your landscaping. The house is also prewired for sound, internet, surveillance, etc. Behind the kitchen is a media room large enough for your neighbors or your kids and their friends. (psst...also the best room for napping...) The large screen, projector, DVD, receiver, surround sound system, etc. will make you feel like you're at the movies. Save that $150 you would have spent and refill that kegerator. Oh! Didn't I tell you... This is also the perfect home for entertaining with an inviting and heated gunite pool with outdoor bar, outdoor kitchen and covered area for your bbq. The outdoor bar has a kegerator, a new and ice-cold beverage refrigerator, an icemaker and a sink so the fun can remain outside if you prefer. We didn't forget the pets either: dog doors into the back and front yards give you peace of mind if you're working and can't rush home to let the dog or cat out. If you train your pet on the Invisible Fence system (added April 2020), it can roam the entire half-acre! AND, the flooring in this home is a very durable tile that looks like wood so your dogs' nails won't scratch it! This home is in a great neighborhood, minutes from shopping with Walmart and Costco (opening September 2021) about five miles down the road and a brand new HEB Grocery about two miles away. We thought this would be our "forever home" so we added a ton of things to this house including a large RV garage in August 2021 and a whole-house generator, pool heater, water softener and tankless water heater in 2020. (BTW, that generator ran like a champ during the power outage!!) We also added all the cabinetry and a handy sink in the laundry room, Invisible Fence, new light fixtures, etc. We also loved the fact that the house is stepless so we could have lived out our retirement years here.
